South Asian University invites applications for the following posts:
Professor
Pay Scale: US$ 30,000 to 45,000 PA
Qualification:
Ph.D. degree from a recognized university / institution. At least 55% marks or equivalent grades at master’s level, in the relevant subject area. Research and postgraduate teaching experience of at least 10 years (excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degree).
Desirable:
High quality research publications in journals of repute. Experience in guiding doctoral research For laboratory based research in sciences, proven ability to get research funding from National / International granting agencies. Experience in university administration by having held high administrative positions would be an added advantage.
Assistant Professor
Pay Scale: US$ 20,000 to 35,000 PA
Qualification:
Ph.D. degree from a recognized university / institution. At least 55% marks or equivalent grades at master’s level, in the relevant subject area. Postgraduate research and teaching experience of at least 5 years (excluding the period spent for obtaining the research degree).
Desirable:
High quality research publications in journals of repute Experience in guiding doctoral research students For laboratory based research in sciences, proven ability to get research funding from National / International granting agencies.
Associate Professor
Pay Scale: US$ 15,000 to 25,000 PA
Qualification:
Ph.D. degree from a recognized university / institution. At least 55% marks or equivalent grades at master’s level, in the relevant subject area.
Desirable:
Published work in reputed journals / books Two-three years post-doctoral research / teaching experience
