Mechanical Marine Engineer

Pay Scale: Pay Band PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- corresponding to the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.10000-325-15200/-.
Eligibility:
(a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department OR
(ii) With five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.8000-275-13500 (Revised Pay Band is PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs.5400) or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; or
(iii) With eight years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.6500-10500 (Revised Pay Band is PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent in the parent department). And
(b) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience as under:-
(i) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university or equivalent. OR
(ii) Certificate of competency as First Class Engineer (Motor) issued by Ministry of Transport or equivalent.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of applications.
