Kolkata Port Trust intends to engage four numbers Asstt. Engineer (Elect) under Mechanical Engineering Department on contract basis on following terms and conditions :
I. The engagement will be for a period of one year and on expiry of the said period, the contractual engagement will be automatically terminated. However, on expiry of the contract, KoPT reserves the right to enter into a fresh contract for such period and on such terms as may be mutually agreed upon.
II. Educational qualification, age and experience :
a) Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
b) Applicant’s age as on 1st September, 2011 should not be less than 45 yrs.
5 yrs. experience in a responsible post on the Executive side of the Electrical Engineering Division in an organization of repute and must have experience in construction and maintenance of HT & LT machineries, overhead and underground distribution system, workshop practice, electronics circuits, refrigeration and airconditioning, lifts etc.
The selected candidates will be paid monthly fixed consolidated remuneration at the rate of Rs. 26, 000/- .

Central Tool Room set up by the Government of India, under Ministry of MSME in Technical Collaboration with the Government of Germany intend to add the following personnel :-
Graduate Engineer Trainee (One) In the field of Mechanical/Production Engineering. During training period of two years, stipend of Rs.8000/- per month for 1st year and Rs.9000/- per month for the 2nd year shall be paid. Maximum Age: 30 years.
Qualification: Fresh Graduate Engineer in Mechanical/Production Engineering from reputed university with at least 60% marks with knowledge of CAD/CAM e.g. CATIA, UG, Pro E, IDEAS etc. Duration of the training shall be of two years. Candidates who has completed Post Graduate course in Tool Engineering/Tool Design/Tool manufacturing of minimum one & half year duration from a reputed institute/university shall be directly admitted to the 2nd year of Training and the duration of training in their case shall be of one year. Maximum Age limit 30 years.

Qualifications: MSc/M.Tech. in Microbiology/Bioinformatics or related fields
Expectations: Candidates should have excellent academic performance, and practical experience in microbiology techniques. In addition, knowledge of bioinformatics (programming in perl) would be preferred but is not essential.
