Shyam Lal College (Evening) is Recruiting Ph.D / PG candidates in 2011, New Delhi

Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-

Assistant Professor/Lecturer
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 with Academic Grade Pay Rs.6000/- plus usual allowances as admissible under the rules of University of Delhi from time to time.
Essential Qualification:
1. Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in the seven-point scale with letter grades O,A,B,C,D,E & F at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
2. Candidates should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors/Lecturers conducted by the UGC/CSIR or a similar test accredicted by the UGC.

General Notes:
1. The qualifications and other service conditions shall be such as prescribed by the University of Delhi/UGC from time to time.
2. The candidates already in service must apply through proper channel.
3. A separate application is to be submitted for each post.
4. Any relaxation in the prescribed qualification can only be made by the UGC in a particular subject in which NET is not being conducted or enough number of candidates of candidates are not available with NET qualifications.
