A First Class Master’s degree in Physics/Geophysics or Maths with atleast 10 years work experience in Geomagnetism and allied fields including instrumentation and computers.
Desirable:
(i) Ph.D. in topics related to Geomagnetism,Aeronomy and Allied field.
(ii) Evidence of ability to lead a group and carry out independent research work of high quality as,an outstanding record of published work.

(ii) 2 years experience of working in the relevant field in a reputed Research Laboratory/Institute/University.
Desirable:
Knowledge and experience in any one of the following:
(a) Geomagnetism and related fields.
(b) Computer networking,hardware and software.
(c) Electronics
Maximum Age: 33 years with relaxation
