Inland Waterways Authority of India invites application from the Indian Nationals working in office of Central/State Governments/Public Sector Undertakings/statutory of Autonomous bodies for the following post on deputation basis for initially for three years, which is likely to be extended for another 2 years.
DEPUTY DIRECTOR (Projects) 04 Posts
(PB-III Rs.15,600-39,100/- + GP Rs. 6,600/-)
Eligibility conditions:
Officers under the Central / State Govt./ Statutory or Autonomous bodies / Public Sector undertaking.
(a) (i) holding analogous post; or
(ii) with five years service in the next below level in the Pay Band of PB-III with GP of Rs. 5400/- or equivalent, and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience.:-
(i) Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture from a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) 5 Years experience in a supervisory capacity in investigation, design, planning and construction of Civil Engineering works including its repair and maintenance OR
Various branches of Maritime/ Mechanical Engineering, works including experience of harbour crafts : OR
Design, planning and construction of vessels in Shipyards or marine Organizations.

Desirable :-
Experience in works connected with Inland Waterways in dredging, river conservancy works, river training, marking of fairways.
Age Limit : Not Exceeding 56 Years
