Punjab Agricultural University recruits Extension Assistant
Qualification: i)2nd Class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. ii) Master’s degree in Civil Engg with minimum overall grade point average of 3.20 / 4.00 or OCPA 6.50 / 10.00 or 65% marks iii) Metric level certificate of Punjabi language. (If not the candidate is required to pass the same within one year of appointment).
Salary: Rs.20000
Note: In case the candidate having Master's degree in the field of Civil Engineering is not available for the post, the candidate possessing B. Tech. degree in Civil Engineering shall be considered for the post. Preference will be given to the candidate having knowledge of computer and experience of working in the allied field.

The desirous candidates fulfilling the qualifications/experience should send their applications on plain paper complete in all respect along with attested copies of the testimonials and a Bank Draft of Rs. 100 in favour of Comptroller, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to this office on or before 17-1-2011. The applications received after due date shall not be considered. The candidate should appear before the Selection Committee for interview on 20-1-2011 at 10. 00 a.m. in the office of the Professor cum Head, Dept of Civil Engg. The original copies of the testimonials should also be brought at the time of interview.
