Punjab Remote Sensing Centre Hires Scientists

Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-

1. Scientist SC (Computer Programme)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualifications:
First Class M.E./M.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology from any recognised University/Institution.
Desirable:
Atleast one year experience in Remote Sensing & GIS applications and Computer Programming.

2. Scientist SC (Geology)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualifications:
First Class B.Sc. Geology with Physics,Maths or chemistry followed by First Class Master’s degree in Geology/Applied Geology from any recognised University/Institution.
Desirable:
Training in Remote Sensing and GIS or experience in the use of Remote Sensing and GIS techniques in Geological studies.

Other Conditions:
i) Based on the bio-data,screening will be conducted to shortlist candidates for interview.
ii) If any information furnished is found to be wrong or false,the candidate will not be interviewed.
iii) The Centre reserves the right not to fill up the post, if it so decides.

Age Limit: Between 18 and 37 years
