Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up of 1 (one) post of
Scientists ‘G’ in the pay scale of PB-4 ` 37400-67000 + ` 10000 (Grade Pay) (General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial) on direct recruitment/Deputation basis in the Ministry of Earth Sciences, New Delhi.

Pay Scale : Rs.PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.10000/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential:
(i) Master’s degree in Physics or Geophysics or Atmospheric Sciences or Meteorology or equivalent with at least first class (60%) or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University.
(ii) Twenty-one years or eighteen years with Ph.D, experience in teaching (at
post graduate level) or research and development, survey administration,
planning, supervision or training in the fields of Atmospheric Sciences or
Seismology or Meteorology.

Desirable:
(i) Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Doctorate in any branch
of sciences related to Atmospheric Sciences or Meteorology or equivalent from a recognized University.
(ii) Experience in projects in the field of Atmospheric Sciences.
